Veterans of the New York National Guards 1st Battalion 69th Infantry who live in the Albany N.Y.- area marked the graves of Irish-American Civil War Soldiers at Albany Rural Cemetery and St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery to acknowledge the link between their service and the 69th Infantry which was historically an Irish-American unit and part of the Irish Brigade during the war.
