107th Airmen work to stop flooding

Senior Airman Douglas Whigham a civil engineer structures specialist assigned to the 107th Attack Wing Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station New York Air National Guard prepares bags to be filled with sand in response to the New York National Guard activation Gov. Andrew Cuomo initiated on May 6 for the flooding occurring along Lake Ontario at the Department of Transportation Albion N.Y. May 13 2019. Members of the New York National Air National Guard are able to fill around 5000 sandbags a day from Albion which are then taken to vulnerable areas around the Lake Ontario shoreline including homes and businesses.
