CAMP SMITH-- Brigadier General Jack James accepts the flag of the 53rd Troop Command from Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General of New York, during change of command ceremonies on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Camp Smith Training Site. James took over command of the 53rd from Brig. Gen. Michele Natali. Natali also serves as the Assistant Adjutant General, Army and will continue in that position.
