FORT HOOD, TEXAS-- New York Army National Guard State Command Sergeant Major David Piwowarski (center) meets with members of the 42nd Infantry Division at the DFAC at Fort Hood Texas on Feb. 11, 2020. Six hundred and fifty Soldiers from the division's headquarters are conducting post-mobilization training at Fort Hood as they prepare to deploy to the Central Command area of responsibility and assume mission command of Operation Spartan Shield.
