ALBANY--Army Major General Ray Shields the Adjutant General of New York meets New York Air National Guard Airmen assisting the Department of Healths Wadsworth Laboratory in assembling COVID-19 test kits for distribution across the state at the Sage Colleges building which was formeraly the New Scotland Avenue Armory in Albany N.Y. on April 9 2020. The 30 Soldiers and Airmen on the mission part of a contingent of 3400 New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen mobilized by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to help respond to the COVID-19 pandemic assembled 20000 kits that day.
