New York Soldier competes at National Best Warrior

CAMP SHELBY, MISSISSIPPI-- Corporal Troy Perez a member of the 1st Battalion Infantry Battalion New York National Guard conducts the leg tuck event during the Army National Guard's 2020 National Best Warrior Competition at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center near Hattiesburg Miss. Sept. 13 2020. The National Best Warrior Competition showcases each competitors Soldier skills physical endurance and knowledge. Perez and Staff Sgt. Matthew Ortiz, another 69th Infantry Soldier, are representing the northeastern states at the event.
