KUWAIT--Command Sgt. Maj. Corey Cush (left), senior enlisted leader for the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division, and Maj. Gen. Steven Ferrari (right), commanding general for the 42nd Infantry Division, case the division's colors during a transfer of authority ceremony held recently in the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The ceremony was held to transfer responsibility for Task Force Spartan Shield -- 10,000 Army forces operating in the region --to the Texas Army National Guard's 36th Infantry Division.
