KINDERHOOK--Brig. Gen. Michael Bank the Assistant Adjutant General Air for New York state and Chief Master Sgt. Jeffrey Trottier salute the resting place of former President Martin Van Buren along with other members of the Air National Guard during a ceremony commemorating the birthday of Van Buren at the Kinderhook Reformed Church Cemetery in Kinderhook New York. Van Buren was the eighth President of the United States and a native of Kinderhook.
