CAMP SMITH--New York Army National Guard 1st Lt. Timothy Foster administers the first COVID-19 vaccination to Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Steven Seidenstein assigned to the 442nd Military Police Company and deployed with the Joint Task Force COVID Response element at the Camp Smith Training Site N.Y. December 17 2020. The New York National Guard is participating in a Department of Defense vaccine pilot program in which 44000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered to front line medical personnel and pandemic response forces at 16 locations around the world.
