Over 5,000 NY Guard Troops fought COVID 19 in 2020

ROCHESTER-- New York Army National Guard Soldiers and Airmen work at the Rochester drive-thru COVID-19 test site during a snow burst on Dec. 16, 2020. 5,066 Soldiers, Airmen, Naval Militia and New York Guard members have served during the COVID-19 response, with 1693 on duty on New Year's Eve 2020. More than 1 million COVID-19 tests have been collected at testing sites were Guard Soldiers and Airmen are on duty.
