New York Soldiers Guard Capitol

WASHINGTON- New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment man a security post near the Capitol in Washington, D.C., Jan. 12, 2021. 20,000 National Guard Soldiers and Airmen from several states have deployed to Washington to provide support to federal and district authorities leading up to the 59th Presidential Inauguration. New York has sent 1,000 Soldiers and Airmen to be part of the mission.
