NEW YORK-- New York Army National Guard Spc. Joniel Claro, a member of the 1569th Medium Truck Company , and Spc. Elmar Eldarzade, a member of the 719th Composite Truck Company move the first doses of the Johnson and Johnson COVID19 vaccine to be delivered to the New York State vaccination site at Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City on March 3, 2021. The New York National Guard is providing logistics and administrative support to the mass vaccination site the New York State Department of Health is overseeing at the Manhattan facility.
