LATHAM-- Major General Ray Shields presents the New York State Conspicuous Service Medal to Marie Gallerie, the long-time purchasing administrator for the Division of Military and Naval Affairs Directorate of Budget and Finance on August 25 at New York National Guard headquarters in Latham. Gallerie, who has handled emergency purchasing issues throughout a number of state emergencies, is retiring after 30 years of service with the agency.
