Soldiers practice EMT training at Fort Hamilton

FORT HAMILTON-New York National Guard Soldiers practice immobilizing an injured leg during Emergency Medical Technician training conducted at the U.S. Army Reserve Center at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn on February 8, 2022.
The Soldiers are among 400 New York Military Forces members being trained as EMTs, even though they are not military medics, in an effort to make the New York National Guard more flexible when responding to emergency situations.
