WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Major General Timothy LaBarge, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, presents New York Conspicuous Service Award to U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Dawne Deskins the deputy director of the Air National Guard during her retirement ceremony at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling District of Columbia Feb. 25 2022. Deskins, retired after 37 years of military service in the Air Force and the New York Air National Guard. She commanded the Eastern Air Defense Sector before taking on responsibilities at National Guard Bureau.
