LATHAM--Sgt. Major Joseph Fisher the oldest Soldier presents joins New York Army Guard Command Sgt. Major David Piwowarski and Pvt. Aiden Lugo a New York Army National Guard recruit and the youngest Soldier present in cutting the Army Birthday Cake during a ceremony marks the Armys 247th Birthday on June 15 2022 at New York National Guard headquarters in Latham New York. The ceremony was delayed a day because New York Army National Guard key leaders were attending June 14 farewell events for 1100 Soldiers departing for a Horn of Africa security mission.
