THAILAND -- New York Air National Guard Tech. Sgt. Sgt Jamie Brisbin (right in red helmet), who now serves as a pararescueman in the 106th Rescue Wing's 103rd Rescue Squadron, takes a break with fellow Airman Tech Sgt. John Merchand, in one of the flooded chambers of Thailand's Tham Luang Nang Non Cave during the rescue of 13 members of a youth soccer team in July of 2018. Brisbin was one of the U.S. Airmen who assisted in the rescue which is the subject of the Amazon Prime film 13 Lives.
