QUEENS- New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 14th Finance Detachment stand at attention during a farewell ceremony held on Friday, June 2 at the Edward M. McKee American Legion Post 131 in Whitestone, Queens. The detachment's 18 Soldiers will deploy to the Middle East in support of U.S. military operations in the region. The Soldiers will mobilize and train for a brief period at Fort Bliss, Texas, before deploying overseas. They are expected to return home in April 2024
