RAVEN CAMP, GREENLAND-- Airmen assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing cut snow blocks to make shelters during Barren Land Survival Training, known as BLAST for short in May 2023. Airmen who are assigned to the wing and fly aboard the LC-130 "Skibirds" the wing flies have to go through the training.
