COVERLO, California-- New York Air National Guard Capt. Jessica Alves, a medical specialist assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing, works with a patient during an Innovative Readiness Training medical mission in Covelo, California, June 16, 2023. This mission, which involved 17 members of the 109th Airlift Wing, offered no-cost medical care to at the Indian Health Care clinic which serves the town and the nearby Indian reservation.
