LATHAM--Roger Towsend a New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs employee who worked in support of communications and cyber for the New York National Guard, receives the New York State Conspicuous Service Medal from Col. Diane Armbruster, during retirement ceremonies at DMNA headquarters in Latham New York Aug. 31 2023. He spent 34 years of military and civilian service on the job. Townsend and his wife were both presented with NYS Conspicuous Service Medals in recognition of his many years of service.
