STEWART AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE --The winglet of a C-17 Globemaster III flown by the New York Air National Guards 105th Airlift Wing sports the logo of the New York Yankees baseball team during a ceremony saluting both the Yankees and the New York Police Department held at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh New York on October 14 2023. The wing saluted both the Yankees and the New York Police Department by painting symbols recognizing them on the ends of the wings of their nine aircraft and officially marked the decision by hosting representatives for a ceremony.
