LATHAM--New York state and Division of Military and Naval Affairs officials gather at the Division of Military and Naval Affairs headquarters in Latham, New York on Friday, March 15 to conduct a ribbon cutting ceremonyopening the new entryway to the building. Cutting the ribbon are, from left, Gary Yaple, Director of Facilities and Engineering, Assemblyman Dan Steck, Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy, Major Gen. Ray Shields, the adjutant general of New York, and State Senator Jake Ashby. The $4 million project, launched in the fall of 2022, replaced a covered walkway area between to halves of the building with a modern reception area and security desk.
