RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--New York Army National Guard Sgt. Tesshawn Cook assigned to the 24th Civil Support Team (WMD) shows a piece of equipment to Brazilian army 1st Lt. Daniel Junior assigned to Companhia de Defesa Qumica Biolgica Radiolgica e Nuclear during Operation Maracan in Rio De Janeiro Brazil July 8 2024. Operation Maracan was a simulated Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear training event conducted between the New York National Guard and Brazilian army in preparation for the FIFA World Cup in 2026.
