ROCHESTER--A CH-47F Chinook heavy lift helicopter flown by New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to B Company, 3rd Battalion 126th General Support Aviation Battalion departs the Army Aviation Support Facility in Rochester, New York headed for Donaldson Army Aviation Support Facility in Greenville, South Carolina in order to support the North Caroline National Guard in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene on Sept, 29, 2024. Three New York Army National Guard CH-47F helicopters will operate out of the Greenville facility flying missions in support of the North Carolina National Guard.
