GREEN RIVER, North Carolina-- Local residents use an all terrain vehicle to unload supplies from a CH-47F Chinook helicopter flown by Soldiers assigned to B Company, 3rd Battalion, 126th General Support Aviation Battalion, in Green River, North Carolina, on October 5, 2024. The New Yorkers were delivering supplies because the roads to the town were not passable. The New York National Guard dispatched three CH-47s and 16 aviation Soldiers from Rochester, New York to support the North Carolina National Guard. ( U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Samuel Sacco)
