FORT INDIANTOWN GAP-- New York Army National Guard Major General Jack James, accepts the colors of the 42nd Infantry from Major General Ray Shields, the adjutant general of New York, during change of command ceremonies on Monday, Nov. 18, at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. The division headquarters is at the post taking part in Warfighter training in preparation for a deployment to the Middle East. Representatives of the division's subordinate brigades from across the northeast took part in the ceremony. James replaced Major General Joseph Biehler as the division commander.
