QUEENS--New York Army National Guard Maj. Gen. Raymond Shields the adjutant general of New York and New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy, center, cut the ribbon during a ceremony openign the renovated Jamaica Armory in Queens New York N.Y. on Feb. 13 2025. This 190000-square-foot historic State Armory for the Division of Military and Naval Affairs was rehabilitated and modernized to meet the needs of todays New York Army National Guard.
