Westhampton Beach-- Airmen assigned to the 106th Rescue Wing clown for the camera on June 7, 2025 during prior to an event at F.S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base recognizing the 50th anniversary of the wing's role as an air resscue wing. Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard addressed the wing, as did previous wing commanders. Prior to that the wing served as a bomber and fighter unit.
