CAMP SMITH-- Col. William Murphy commander of the 106th Regiment (Regional Training Institute) passes the guidon to Maj. John Noecker incoming commander of 1st Infantry Battalion 106 RTI during a ceremony conducted at Camp Smith Training Site near Peekskill N.Y. June 20 2025. Maj. Michael Clifford the regimental executive officer stood in for Lt. Col. Terry Benson who relinquished command of the battalion.
