CHEEKTOWAGA--A Soldier assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company 204th Engineer Battalion 153rd Troop Command Brigade 53rd Troop Command New York Army National Guard holds his child and is welcomed home by his family on Veterans Day from a deployment to East Africa on Nov. 11 2025 in Cheektowaga N.Y. The 152nd ESC was deployed for nine months in Djibouti Somalia and Kenya where they provided critical engineering and construction support to ongoing counterterrorism operations under the Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa.
