BUFFALO--New York Army National Guard recruiters render honors during a memorial service for New York Army National Guard Spc. Eh Kaw Ku held on March 19 at the Masten Avenue Armory in Buffalo. Ku enlisted July 2024 and was attending Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon Georgia where he was preparing to serve as a signal operations support specialist when he became ill. He died on February 19 2026 at the age of 18 at Wellstar Hospital in Augusta Georgia following a sudden illness.
