SCOTIA, New York--Airmen assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing, based at Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia, New York, work together to repaint the gate guardian that sits at the entrance of the base on July 15, 2026. The LC-130D model originally flew with the Alaskan Air Command before flying with the 109th from 1975-1985. It was brought back to the base as a static display in 1994.
