KANGERLUSSUAQ, GREENALAND --New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1156th Engineer Company construct a new pitched roof over an existing flat roof at a lodging facility in Kangerlussuaq Greenland June 16 2026. The project is a partnership between the New York National Guard and Greenland Airports to address long-standing leaks and improve living conditions for Airmen supporting the 109th Airlift Wings Arctic mission.
