OSHKOSH, Wisconsin-- Fireworks go off above an LC-130 "Skibird" assigned to the New York National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing while at the AirVentures Oshkosh air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 22, 2026.The annual air show known simply as "Oshkosh" is held at Witman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The show started on July 20 and runs to July 26. The 109th Airlift Wing sent an aircraft and aircrews to be part of the event and they have welcomed thousands of people to tour the plane and talk about the New York Air National Guard and their unique mission flying the world's largest ski-equipped aircraft.
