FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pennsylvania--New York Army National Guard PFC Lopera Ibanez, a member of the 222nd Chemical Company takes off his protective mask while conducting confidence chamber training at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania on July 21 2026. The training familiarizes Soldiers with the effects of CS gas while reinforcing confidence in their protective equipment and preparing them to operate in chemical biological radiological and nuclear (CBRN) environments.
