NY Army National Guard Members Discharged after 1954

You may request copies of your records in one of these ways:

1. Write a letter to the following address: New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs
   Records, MNP Room 301
   330 Old Niskayuna Rd
   Latham, NY 12110-3514 Remember to include a printed copy of your completed, signed SF 180 with your request
2. Fax a completed, signed SF 180 to 518-786-0471
3. Email a completed, signed SF 180 to ng.ny.nyarng.list.request-for-records@army.mil

NY Army National Guard Members Discharged Prior to 1954 (More Than 70 Years Ago)

Please be aware that Personnel records over 70 years old are routinely destroyed and/or archived. Also, A major fire at the National Personnel Records Center in 1973 destroyed nearly 80% of Army records 1912-1960, and 75% of Air Force records 1947-1964.
