New York National Guard Mobilization Opportunities

Joint Forces Headquarters, NY is seeking current NYARNG, NYANG, NYNM and NYG members in grades E1-O5 who are interested in a long-term State Active-Duty mission supporting the current Domestic Operation (DOCCS).

Requirements/Qualifications are as follows:

• 180+ (Army National Guard, Naval Militia) or 90+ (Air National Guard) days remaining on military contract
• Not flagged for disciplinary proceedings or investigation, pending adverse action or open medical board cases
• Approved by your M-Day Unit Commander to serve on State Active Duty
• Have a current, updated family care plan prepared and filed with your unit
• Prepared to deploy to and serve in any location and any capacity across New York State at all times
• Willingness to serving a minimum of 90+ days on State Active Duty
• Current, passing PFT
• No visible tattoos while wearing duty uniform
• Valid Common Access Card
• Ability to access DOD Systems (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Ability to obtain a DOD Enterprise email
• Signed Lautenberg Agreement

Prerequisites:

• Must be New York State EMT-certified
• Must be a member of a New York unit

All ranks are accepted for enlisted, Officer and Warrant Officer personnel.
