WASHINGTON- New York National Guard Sgt. Henry Johnson ( pictured here) a member of the 369th Infantry Regiment, the Harlem Hell Fighters who died in 1929 will be honored with a posthumous Medal of Honor today, Tuesday June 2, at the White House. New York Army National Guard Command Sgt. Major Louis Wilson will receive the medal from President Barack Obama on his behalf. Johnson was honored with a French medal for his heroism but received no American honors at the time.
