109th Airlift Wing readies debris clearing team

STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE --New York Air National Guard Chief Master Sgt. Mark Schaible instructs Staff Sgt. Jodie Ruther, a firefighter with the 109th Airlift Wing, on how to operate a skid steer on Aug. 12, 2015 at Stratton Air National Guard Base, New York. The skid steers are part of the equipment package the 109th AW received as part of the debris clearance package to support domestic operations. The 109th Logistic Readiness Squadron's Vehicle Maintenance Flight has been training members throughout the base on the equipment received. Schaible is the Vehicle Maintenance superintendent.
