CORNWALLIS ISLAND, CANADA-- New York Air National Guard Maj. Matthew Sala taxis in an LC-130 aircraft on the ski-way at Little Cornwallis Island Nunavut Canada on April 13 2016 in support of Canadas annual Operation Nunalivut. Sala was part of the eight-person team from the New York Air National Guards 109th Airlift Wing that prepared the ski-way for LC-130 operations. Nearly 50 Airmen and two LC-130s from the 109th were part of the exercise. This is the third year the 109th has participated.
