BOLTON LANDING, N.Y. - Nearly 500 Soldiers and family members of the 27th Brigade Combat Team, recently returned home from Afghanistan, conduct Yellow Ribbon Reintegration at the Sagamore Resort here February 28. The unit deployed in 2008 as part of Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix for the training and mentoring of the Afghan National Army and Police Force. The troops met with more than 50 providers to gather information about services ranging from education or medical benefits, veterans services, military and family services or counseling. The troops will continue their reintegration at an additional 60 and 90-day events as part of their welcome home and return to a traditional Citizen Soldier status.
