New York Army National Guard Soldiers from the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade conduct demobilization tasks at the Fort Hood Soldier Readiness Center. Approximately 250 New York Soldiers redeployed from their nine month mission to Kuwait Aug. 9. Another 150 are expected to return to Fort Hood from Kuwait Aug. 16. The aviation brigade task force comprised more than 1,200 Soldiers from aviation elements of the active Army and Army National Guard.
