FORT POLK--New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Gun 8 Bravo Battery 1st Battalion 258th Field Artillery based in Bronx N.Y. fire their M119 Howitzer during training at the Joint Readiness Training Center Ft. Polk La. July 26 2016. Approximately 3000 Soldiers from New York joined 2000 other state Army National Guard units active Army and Army Reserve troops as part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team task force.
